Yesterday Marie and I went to an event at the Library. They had a bubble bus in the parking lot with three bubble machines. They also had shaving cream on a table for sensory play and squirt guns. At first Marie had a lot of fun with the bubbles but once she saw the water, shaving cream and squirt guns she was enthralled with that for the rest of the time. She ended up absolutely soaked but boy she had fun! Every once in awhile she would look up at the bubbles and say "oh bubbles" and then go back to playing in the water! :) It was a fun event to take her too. Enjoy the pictures and videos.

The first of the shaving cream |

How do you work this thing? |
|
The shaving cream table was a big hit with most of the kids. Except for the ones who hated their hands dirty. :) |
|
All of the bubbles were a lot of fun! |
|
After awhile the guy with the bus started using a big wand to make these HUGE bubbles! They were pretty cool. I don't know if Marie ever noticed them or not. I tried to get her to look but she was too busy with the water! :) |

So wet! |

What is this stuff Mom? |

At this point her clothes were soaked! |
These videos were taken at the beginning before she found the water.
We had lots of fun! What fun things are you doing this summer?
A fun way to spend a hot day!!! Thanks for sharing. So far this summer has been more work than fun but if I do something fun I will let you know :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of bubbles! We had fun on the 4th with the Virginia Point parade and the Poulsbo and Kingston fireworks on the 3rd and 4th.
ReplyDeleteAh, looks like a blast! I miss little Marie! :( We went to a church picnic at Point Defiance, Lucy had a blast playing with the other kids on the play equipment I I got to connect with some of the other church goers! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, and what a fun event! We've been roasting with an unusually hot summer here, but that's also made it more fun to go to the beach by our house. I think the girls would have loved playing with Marie!
